Place #28: Elephant & Castle

Yes, I know I’ve fallen behind, but not because I haven’t been going to new places. Quite the opposite, in fact. I’ve been to lots of new places recently, and haven’t had the time to write about them. I’ll be caught up by the end of the week 🤞

Mom was in Toronto for the day, so we got lunch together. One of the many benefits of working from home, I can make my own hours and work when it suits me.

What I neglected to take into account was that a World Cup game was going to be playing in the afternoon, so the restaurant was preparing for lots of people to come in and stay for the duration of the game. Mom and I were not one of those, so we were allowed to be seated.

The building used to be a bank branch and has really high ornate ceilings.
